What is the artist thinking about in his studio? He thinks back to this volcanic island, somewhere in the Mediterranean. He thinks back to the colors and smells of Tangier where pistachio mixes with saffron. He thinks back to all his past or imaginary trips that still awaken his senses. Inspiration is a journey between memories and desires in the present.

Faces of Francis is a smokey gourmand – blending saffron, grilled pistachio, amber, and oud in a sweet composition that begs the question: what is inspiring him to create?
